Question 1

How do I combine photos into one image?

Accepted Answer

Add two or more photos, choose Grid, Side by side or Stacked, and adjust the spacing, outer border, rounded corners and background color. The preview updates as you go; when it looks right, download the collage as a single JPG or PNG.

Question 2

How do I put two pictures side by side without cropping them?

Accepted Answer

Choose “Side by side”. Every photo is scaled to the same height and placed next to the others, so nothing is cropped. “Stacked” does the same vertically, scaling every photo to the same width.

Question 3

What's the difference between “Fill cells” and “Fit whole photo”?

Accepted Answer

In a grid, “Fill cells” crops each photo from the center so it fills its cell completely with no gaps. “Fit whole photo” shows each entire photo inside its cell and fills the leftover space with your background color.

Question 4

What size is the finished collage?

Accepted Answer

Pick a width of 1080 px (ideal for Instagram), 1600 px, 2048 px or 3000 px for printing; the height follows from the layout. Very tall collages are reduced to stay under about 16 million pixels, the most that phones and browsers can reliably save.

Question 5

How many photos can a collage have?

Accepted Answer

Up to 20. Use the arrow buttons under each thumbnail to change the order, or remove a photo with the ✕. Your photos are combined in your browser and never uploaded.
